Piranha™ is an all-in-one microbial bioremediation formula designed for the immediate, on-site treatment of hydrocarbon contamination in soils. It is specifically formulated for use in oilfields, pipelines, pumping areas, and similar environments where crude oil or petroleum spills must be addressed quickly and effectively.

Piranha contains a balanced consortium of beneficial microbes combined with targeted bionutrients that work together to biologically degrade and recycle hydrocarbons directly in place. Unlike other products that require separate nutrient blending, Piranha is fully pre-mixed and ready to be hydrated and deployed immediately, allowing rapid response to minor or major soil-based spills, including residential heating oil incidents.

Piranha is intended for use in soils and soil-like surfaces such as gravel or compacted ground. It is not designed for use in water environments, on concrete or shop floors, or on equipment or hard industrial surfaces.

The product does not meet OSHA criteria for hazardous classification and contains no harsh chemicals, solvents, or surfactants. When handled properly, it is safe for use around humans, animals, and the surrounding environment.

Piranha is stable and non-reactive under normal conditions. Standard good industrial hygiene practices are recommended during handling, including minimizing dust generation and avoiding inhalation of fine particles. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used when handling powdered materials in industrial environments.

For environmental safety and product performance, avoid applying alongside chlorine, disinfectants, solvents, or harsh degreasers that may inhibit microbial activity. The product must come into direct contact with contaminated material to function effectively, and repeated applications may be required for heavier or aged contamination.

Usage Instructions

Application Method

Step 1 - Apply: Distribute Piranha evenly across the contaminated surface. May be applied dry or pre-mixed with water depending on the surface and contamination level.

Step 2 - Activate: Add ~10% water (fresh, salt, or brackish) to activate microbial activity. Ensure enough moisture for even coverage and deep penetration into porous surfaces.

Step 3 - Integrate: Brush or lightly rake to ensure contact between microbes and the spilled material.

To work, Piranha MUST come in direct contact with the spilled material. Contact is essential, without direct contact the microbes will not work.

Allow spills to be treated simply and easily in place.

Avoid using chlorine, solvents, disinfectants, or harsh degreasers immediately before or after applying Piranha.

Heavy or aged contamination may require multiple applications.

Safe for use in industrial environments when proper PPE is used for handling powders.
